My name is Tina. I’m an architect, designer, artist, parent, and devout urbanist, who is always looking for the beauty in the everyday. I’m keenly interested in art, design, architecture, style and people. I live in Vancouver with my husband and kids.

My interest in design extends well beyond the built environment, and encompasses product design, furniture, jewelry, vintage fashions, crafts, as well as decorative and applied artwork.

Why am I blogging?

This blog is a place for me to share my discoveries as I look for the beauty of design in the everyday. With this blog I will share my style muses and personal inspirations.

I find that design helps me to define myself and give my life meaning, character and direction.  Design is my compass and my inspiration, feelings that I know I share with many of you.  It is also gives me a knew and fresh way of seeing and being in the world.  Design is a window into our many ways of seeing and influencing the world.  It is always a positive force.  Design is life.
